"Colin Peasley danced in the Australian Ballet's first staging of The Merry Widow in 1975 and has been in at least 10 productions of it since." The 77-year-old, who has served AB as principal dancer, ballet master and education director, "says that after 49 years in the country's premiere ballet company, of which he was a founding member in 1962, he will finish next year." Academy Princesse Grace Monaco This is the school page, the Princess Grace Academy in Monte Carlo, where I was trained from 1985 to 1991. This is not an official page of the academy. This page is for alumni (and today's students) to meet, exchange photos, videos, ... The “Académie de Danse Classique” was founded in the villa Casa Mia which was bought specially for that purpose by the government. It was created following the special request of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier III, to offer Marika Besobrasova a structure to develop her teachings. Marika Besobrasova was engaged by the Ballets de Monte-Carlo where she worked with Michel Fokine when she was 16 years old and started teaching in 1939. Read more...
